This is a downloadable 21 pages practice sheet covering the tattoo, a little monoline wavey rhythmic style that will put your arm movement to the test. It’s beaut, though, and perfect for shorter quotes or single words. This is the most common style I get asked to do when designing tattoos, hence the name. The pages cover characteristics, technique, variations, and the alphabet, words, variations and quotes for practice, and then some.
For this practice sheet, I recommend fine tip brush pens like Staedtler Pigment Liner 1.2 or 1.0. If you want to go overboard with a brush pen, make it a small one, like the small tip in this Pentel Sign Brush Pen set.
