Welcome Pentel Brush Sign Pen Twin! If you’ve been around for a while, you probably already know that the Pentel Brush Sign Pen is my absolute favorite pen in the small brush pen category (and if you haven’t been around for a while, you know that now). It’s a perfect beginner pen, but also incredibly versatile, I use it myself almost every day and it has given birth to many of my styles, the Canadian, the Kaosyoga and the Actress, for example. And now it has a cousin!
The Pentel Brush Sign Twin is simply an evolution of the regular Brush Sign, but with an amazing bonus: in addition to the regular, phenomenal brush tip, it also has a thicker brush tip at the other end. So you get two different brush pens in one!
The larger nib is medium-sized, about the same size as the Edding 1340 Brush Pen, slightly larger than the Stabilo Brush but a little, little smaller than the Karin Marker PRO, for those of you who are familiar with these. Of course, the two nibs have exactly the same color, which allows you to refine and add details with the small one after using the large one.
Given that you get two pens in one, I think this is a must have! The ink is like the usual, colorful and water-soluble that you have in the Brush Sign Pen.
