If you like gel pens, you’ll love Karin Deco Gel. They have a consistently too thick, opaque jelly paint that can be blended, covers well, and delivers giant pops or glittery colors. But there is one thing that is a constant annoyance and makes it so difficult to find good gel pens: The thick color does not flow evenly? First there is almost nothing, and then there is a lump? It’s quite common because the color is just quite thick and opaque, and I often get questions about it, but the gel pens I sell in my shop have a smooth and nice flow.
If you’ve used Karin Deco Gel before, you know that Karin has managed to create a gel pen that not only has a smooth, thick flow, but can also create slightly different thick lines depending on how hard you press and how fast you write! Cool, right?
Karin Deco Gel Metallic, like Karin Deco Gel Star Sparks, is generous enough in its amount of color to be mixed together before it dries. You can make beautiful, glittery gradients with these, or create the most beautiful BuJo in the country, just so you know.
When you’re done, let the paint dry for a while to avoid smudging. Store the pencils lying down.
Karin Deco Gel Metallic is available in 10 colors and sold individually. They work great on Lettering Paper Smooth or Lettering Paper Black In the video I write on Lettering Paper coated. Keep in mind that the drying time will be a bit longer on coated paper, but it’s worth it because it really is a great match for jelly pens.

And don’t forget that Karin has also made great brush pens in metallic colors for those who are inclined in that direction, Deco Brush Metallic.
