Gelly Roll Moonlight from Sakura is now available in pastel colors! I’m a sucker for pastel but poppy gel pens, and I’ve tried a lot of different brands, and Gelly Roll Moonlight’s new collection is right up my alley. They have mild, very nice colors without the neon, which at the same time cover very well even on black paper. The ink flows well too.
In this set you will find eight beautiful pencils, really like caramels! The colors are yellow, orange, pink, blue, green, lavender, sky blue and grey. Together with for example Koi pastel brushpens and a couple of plain black Sakura Pigma Microns in different sizes, you have a great line up for your analog calendar.
The Sakura Gelly Roll moonlight is great at getting an even flow, but as with all gel pens, be careful not to press too hard when writing. Then the small ball is pushed into the tube, blocking the flow of paint.

You can use your Gelly Rolls on all types of paper, including Lettering Paper Black, Lettering Paper Smooth and Lettering Paper Coated – all of which can be purchased as blocks or loose sheets.
