Well, HERE we have something fun! Gelly Roll Gold and Silver Shadow are jelly pens that change color to some extent. When you write, the color is just like you see on the cap, but as the color dries, it becomes more and more gold or silver. How cool! So the end result is a golden shimmering pink, green or whatever color you choose. No matter what your lettering or illustrations look like, they will look magical with this pen’s effect.
If you use them on white paper, I think the original color is more visible (look at my pictures), while there will be more predominance of gold or silver when you work with the pens on dark paper. So both work great!
Gold with a touch of green or pink – it’s really beautiful. Here you have ten different colors to choose from, five that convert to yellow and five that convert to silver. They are sold individually.
Just Gold and Silver Shadow has an extra nice and generous flow, I think, but as with all gel pens, it will be better if you do not press too hard when writing. They do not bleed through paper and work great for notebooks, for example. They work really well on Lettering Pad Smooth and Lettering Pad Black (both available as loose papers without spiral binding), and also for creating your own festive cards. Just remember to let them dry before you close the book or put your hand on them.
