You are going to have so much fun with these! The Ecoline water color brush pens are amazingly strong in pigment, the ink is concentrated and rich, which means you can get strikingly beautiful letters out of them as they are, but also that you can dilute them and blend them together. The Dutch company Royal Talens were initially famous for their cool fluid water colors, and when they took it one step further and designed a brush pen out of those gorgeous paints, they really did a great job. The brush tip is big and flexible, but not at all as sensitive as other similar sized felt tip brush pens. It bounces back perfectly and can stand a rough paper better than many others.
So if you want amazing depth in color, a big, playful tip and perfect ink flow, you’re in for a treat with these ones. These pastel are both sweet and mild and rich in pigment. That means you won’t get those diluted, boring meh-pastels, but rich ones, that also creates the most beautiful gradients when used on an uncoated paper. I adore these!
Keep in mind, though, not to store your water color work in the light. Keep it in a folder to prevent the colors from fading. The colors are Pastel Blue 508, Pastel Green 666, Pastel Rose 390, Cold Grey Light 738 and Pastel Violet 579.
