For those who want to start lettering: BIC Intensity is a hot tip! Here you will find an affordable set of 4 clear and water-soluble pastel colors. The pens have a medium-sized brush tip, roughly in line with Edding 1340 Brush Pen, Pentel Brush Sign Twin and slightly smaller than Karin Brushmarker PRO, and as a bonus, there is also a fixed small bullet tip at the other end, which also makes it suitable for calendars and your Bullet Journal In this set of pens you will find four absolutely lovely pastel colors: green, yellow, blue and pink. You can find a larger set with 6 different pastel colors here. BIC Intensity is also available in basic colors. The brush tip is made of felt, like many other similar medium-sized brush pens, which means it can wear out quite quickly. But on the other hand, it’s incredibly affordable, and as a beginner, it often feels good not to work with too expensive material, it can inhibit practice. You’ll probably run out of these, just as you would with other similar pens, but you’ll learn a lot in the process! You can also use the little bullet tip to make a lot of fun details that go tone in tone with the letters, for example, you can see how I used them to add shadows here. You can also use the brush tip as a highlighter in your BuJo. As usual with felt tips, they last longer on good paper, I would recommend smooth or coated. If you are going to sketch in pencil first, I recommend erasing with the Kneadable Art Eraser from Faber Castell first. Because the pastel colors are so light, the pencil lines may show through otherwise.
